Concordia depression study

The Stress and Developmental Psychopathology Lab led by Dr. Mark Ellenbogen is currently recruiting participants for a new online questionnaire study that will examine fear of depression recurrence among individuals with remitted depression. They are looking to recruit English-speaking individuals, above the age of 18, who have experienced at least one major depressive episode in the past, but who currently no longer have symptoms of depression.

Volunteer research assistant

Being a research assistant and participating in active research is considered one of the most valuable experiences you can have when applying for graduate school in psychology. You must reach out to a professor or lab at the university (or research organization) in order to apply to become research assistant. You will be exposed to various aspects of lab work and experimentation within the field and depending on your contributions, your name might even end up on the publication! Don't hesitate to visit them during office hours and don't forget to bring your CV and unofficial transcript!
